Nanotechnology is an interdisciplinary subject that incorporates science and engineering disciplines. It is the understanding and control of matter at the nanoscale (<100 nm), and it enables novel applications in engineering, medicine, defence etc. The understanding of fundamental principles of nanotechnology is essential for every engineer who deals directly or indirectly with the latest device technologies. Hence, in the inaugural function of NTC at VNRVJIET, a talk on “Walking Through Nanotechnology” is scheduled, which will provide basic insights to the participants on nanotechnology.
