About the Session –
The ceremony commenced with a formal welcome to our guests, faculty and members of
IEEE followed by giving tulsi saplings to Chief Guests Prof. M P S Chawla by Dr. UBS
Chandrawat (HOD ECE Dept) and also to the Guests Of HonoR Dr.Prabin Kumar Panigrahi
by Prof. Geeta Santosh (HOD FCA Dept). Prof. Gaurav Chaitanya, the Branch Counselor of
IEEE Student Branch AITR introduced and welcomed respective guests with IEEE Members.
The Chair of SB, Mr. Pranav Bhardwaj , briefed us about the annual calendar plan and all the
events that are going to be held in nearby future. The Director of AITR Dr S.C. Sharma, in his
address congratulated all the members of IEEE and the newly elected office bearers. He
inspired all the members to be dutiful and responsible in his address.All the office bearers
were felicitated by badges from guests and Director and as a sign of official post allotment,
flags were given to the Chair of IEEE SB and IEEE WiE by the chief guests.
The chief guest, M P S Chawla appreciated the efforts of institution for providing this
opportunity to the students and asked the students to be prepared to take responsibilities.
He wished well to all the office bearers and rest of the member. The guest of honor ,
Dr.Prabin Kumar Panigrahi motivated students by giving handful advices . He urged
members to think out of the box, work through some new ideas , start new projects ,study
on research papers and make the most out of the opportunity provided by the IEEE
platform. He congratulated all members and office bearers and wished them best for the
new journey. After this , all the IEEE members were awarded by the certificates from guests
and faculty.Dr. Kamal K. Sethi ( HOD CS Dept) presented memento to our Chief Guest M P S
Chawla and Dr. Prashant Lakkadwala ( HOD IT Dept) to Guests Of Honor Dr.Prabin Kumar
Panigrahi. The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Prof. Subi Joshi ( Faculty
Advisor , IEEE WiE SB AG).

4. Keep your deeds honest.
5. Work for self first and help as much as you can.
