Come learn more about Stationary Battery Room Application best practices and regulations that could be interpreted differently depending on the application and battery technology.  This course describes the best practices and code requirements pertaining to safety and compliance in the design and operation of stationary battery systems.  Also discussed will be the history of federal, state, and local compliance, considerations, and how they relate to Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) interpretations.  After this course, you will understand what items should be considered in a site Hazard Mitigation program of your stationary battery system.

Jeff Donato Jeff Donato of EnviroGuard

Biography:

Jeff Donato has over 27 years of sales and management experience in the industrial battery industry.  He has sold and represented leading battery manufacturers and compliance products in the Data Center, Utility, and Telecommunications industry segments.  Jeff is an active member of the IEEE ESSB standards committee and is the current chair of IEEE SA Working Group 1578 and a member of other working groups.  He is currently the CTO of EnviroGuard and presents standby power system Environmental Health & Safety training to engineering, architect, and OEM manufacturing firms and delivers stationary battery room solutions training to end-users and specifying engineers.
