GT CED: Cybersecurity for OT Infrastructure in the Digital World

The increased adoption of IIoT for electrical distribution and industrial control systems has caused an increased convergence between Information Technology (IT) and Operations Technology (OT) infrastructures. OT systems require special consideration for cybersecurity to fully address the risks where traditional IT tools and monitoring are not, or cannot be, applied. This course covers the effects due to the increased convergence of IT and OT infrastructures, how OT vulnerabilities could negatively impact operations, and what facility managers can do to protect their facilities from cybersecurity threats.

Raul is a highly motivated, solutions-driven professional who specializes in helping end users optimize their facilities’ operations through intelligent power management and OT cybersecurity solutions. With a strong foundation in power system engineering, Raul has developed customized solutions for Healthcare, Commercial, Industrial, Water/Wastewater, Government, and Data Center facilities. Raul is motivated by his fiancée and three dogs and in his free time enjoys primitive backpacking and the outdoors.
