Elmore Best Paper Award from the Georgia Institute of Technology Protective Relaying Conference in 2017 and 2018. She is a senior IEEE member and a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas.

Dr. Swagata Das is a Protection application engineer at SEL. She received the Walter A. Elmore Best Paper Award from the Georgia Institute of Technology Protective Relaying Conference in 2017 and published a book on Fault Location on Transmission and Distribution Lines in 2021. She is a senior IEEE member and a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas.
