The presenter will offer an overview of available power monitoring system technology, and will review compliance and reporting.  

    • The presenter will review:
    • A Blueprint for a power monitoring system  common to all power monitoring suppliers. 
    • Common mistakes 
  • The need for Cybersecurity
  • The importance of commissioning
  • Meter Technology

 

3: Pre-Fabrication and Modular Power Equipment Discussion

The presenters will review  best practices and considerations for more effective implementation of pre-fabrication and modular solutions on projects, and will  review efficiency, safety, and application benefits of using pre-fabrication and modular distribution equipment solutions for a range of projects from basic commercial sites to complex data centers. 

4: Open Channel Busway Applications Discussion

The presenter will introduce open channel busway, discus specifications, applicable codes and standards,  applications, discuss the unique design opportunities available to the engineer, and review safety features and operation of open chanel busway.

The panel will review the challenges of adding EV charging equipment to existing facility infrastructure, and discuss adapting power distribution designs to meet the application requirements.

 

6: DC Control Power for Critical Power Distribution Equipment

The presenters will offer an introduction to battery technologies and associated DC equipment related to Switchgear, Engine Start, UPS, Data Centers, and Telecommunications. They will include an overview of  applicable  technologies, codes, and the variables useful in designing systems for every application.  Attendees will learn about the factors that play into choosing the right DC solution for their application needs.
