A 9-day course DIGIPEDIA on basic digital electronics was conducted by IEEE Circuits and Systems Society, MJCET in collaboration with IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, MJCET, and Robotics Center, MJCET. It aims at building a strong foundation for students who wish to venture into the VLSI chip designing domain.

Topics covered in the course include logic gates, combinational logic circuits, sequential logic circuits, FSM, and memories. After each session, a 20 mark quiz was conducted via google forms created by Syed Diraar Ahmed (technical head IEEE CASS, MJCET) whose scores and answer explanations were mailed to students the next day for gauging their progress. Each DIGIPEDIA session was interactive with comprehensive doubt clearing sessions by Mohammad Ibrahim (Secretary IEEE CASS, MJCET). Concise notes of the classes were made by Nida Zia(Chairperson, IEEE CASS, MJCET) and forwarded to students for future quick reference.

With 145 registrations in total, comprising of students from ECE, IT, MECHANICAL, and CSE this course served as a launchpad for students willing to step into the digital world.
