TEDP General Chair, Prof. R K Dwivedi informed that we have completed 18 successful days of 36 days TEDP. During the period the participants were enlightened with major attributes of entrepreneurship through various sessions including MSME, business opportunity, market survey, Project reports, data collection, property rights etc. The eminent speakers from every corner of the INDIA for total 36 sessions will cover all major components of TEDP. He informed, more interactive sessions by industry, banking, incubation centres and academia experts will be the part of next 18 days of TEDP. TEDP convenor Dr Pankaj Kumar Goswami conveyed his regards to all the speakers and participants for incredible half way journey of TEDP. He informed that the participant from all over India are highly thankful for organizing such a long duration skill development program. They are appreciating the session speakers and Teerthanker Mahaveer University for such a great learning platform. Dr Goswami informed to Media that TMU is the only university in the north region working for the development of society and catering people for entrepreneurial trainings. Hon’ble Vice chancellor, TMU, Moradabad, Prof. Raghuvir Singh delivered his keynote address on leadership modes on 18th day of TEDP. During his address, he discussed various attributes of leadership including compass of leaderships, five best leaderships style, domain of leadership, traits of leadership, leadership skills, levels of leaderships etc. He elaborated on the key mantra of leadership to pick up responsibilities and new challenges. Dr Aditya Sharma, Registrar, TMU, Moradabad has given a very appreciable session on networking, negotiation and delegation of authorities. He spoke about networking skills, negotiations objectives and work efforts for delegation of authorities. He elaborated on the main strategy behind negotiation skills which are balance of power, constructive climate and flexibility of behaviour. Dr. Manjula Jain, Associate Dean, Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad discussed “Preparation of detailed business plan” in the second session of 15th day TEDP. She highlighted the various threats which are affecting the business and its growth. She also discussed about various marketing strategies which are helpful to strengthen any type of businesses. She briefly analysed the effects of political, socio-cultural, economical, technological parameters on the growth of the company with the help of PEST analysis template. Thus, she enlightened us on working on up-to-date strategies and techniques which will be the key parameters for any successful entrepreneurial investment.

The chief guest of online TEDP, Prakash Chauhan, Director,Indian Institute of Remote Sensing, Dehradun, India addressed the gathering with hi s ex traordinar y wi sdom on enterprenurships. He said that Entrepreneurship Development in India to create more opportunities and remove road-blocks from his path.” In recent years, entrepreneurs have faced countless obstacles in the business environment. investments, technology, employment and seed funding for ideation and development progress. The single greatest wealth creator of our generation and every generation before us has been technology. Today, state of the art technology can be defined as nanotechnology, biotechnology, and Web technology. In previous generations, it was defined as the television and the internal combustion engine. In many cases, the innovator was not the entity that invented it or was best-positioned to introduce it to the marketplace.

Biography: Dr. Prakash Chauhan obtained his postgraduate degree in Applied Geophysics from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee and Ph. D. in Physics from Gujarat University, Ahemedabad. Prior to joining Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), Dehradun, he was the Group Director at the Space Applications Centre, (ISRO), and Ahmedabad since 2014. He joined Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) in 1991 as scientist and since than working for the applications of remote sensing technology for natural resources management for ocean and land resources. He initiated research activities for planetary remote sensing at Space Applications Centre to study solar system objects mainly Earth’s Moon and Mars, through Indian planetary missions. His major achievements are in the area of earth observation applications including development of algorithms for ocean colour parameter retrieval, marine living resource assessment, aerosol remote sensing for space based air quality monitoring, river and reservoir water level estimation using space borne altimeters and coastal zone management. He has done lead work in using the hyperspectral data for lunar surface composition mapping using HySI and Moon Mineralogical Mapper (M3) instruments of Chandrayaan-1. He has been the Principal Investigator for Infrared Imaging spectrometer (IIRS) instrument on-board Chandrayaan-2 mission. He also led a team scientists for scientific analysis of data from Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) instruments. He has published more than 100 research papers in both National and International Journals. He is executive member of International Ocean Colour Co-ordination Group (IOCCG) and representing ISRO. He has also represented ISRO at CEOS as Co-Chair for Ocean Colour Virtual Constellation (OCR-VC). Currently he is a member of prestigious NASA-ISRO Planetary Science working group. He has been awarded prestigious Prof. P.R. Pisharoty memorial award for the year 2004 by Indian Society of Remote Sensing, Hari Om Ashram Prerit Dr. Vikarm Sarabhai Research Award by Physical Research Laboratory (PRL), Ahmedabad for 2009, ISRO merit award by Indian Space Research Organistaion in 2010 and Satish Dhawan award by ISRS, Dehradun for 2016.
