Ms. Kimberly Watson of WPAFB

Biography:

Ms. Kimberly Watson is the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) Chief at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. She is responsible for executing all DEIA initiatives for a wing comprised of more than 5,000 active-duty, Air Force civilians, and contractor employees, the Air Force Research Laboratory, the Air Force Institute of Technology and installation public affairs support for over 100 mission partners. The wing is responsible for three primary missions: operating the installation; training and deploying expeditionary Airmen in support of joint operations; and defending the base and its people. The base is home to approximately 30,000 employees and is the largest single site employer in the state of Ohio with a $4 billion annual economic impact

Ms. Watson served with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) in various Equal opportunity and Civil Rights capacities since December 2000. She was responsible for developing, implementing and delivering Employment Law training sessions for all ODOT managers and supervisors. She served on the steering committee of the American Association of State Highway

and Transportation Officials Committee on Civil rights as the regional representative. She was responsible for evaluating effectiveness of civil rights programs and reporting findings and issues as well as sharing best practices.
