As long as we are progressing into the Automatization of the processes and operations involved in the development, the operation, and the maintenance of the Distribution Network at all Voltage levels, we are transforming the traditional electrical networks into smart grids.

In this webinar we will show the experience of Iberdrola in the different areas that we could identify in Smart Grids: Automation of MV and LV network, Smart Metering management, Telecommunications involved in the process, Control Systems, Flexibility, Integration of DER and Storage.

Working in Iberdrola since 1988, initially in Real-Time Control Systems área, in 2002 Responsible for O&M Telecommunication & Telecontrol Network for Iberdrola, actually Head of Smart Grids Operative in Spain.

Consulting services for Control Systems and Telecommunications for COELBA, COSERN, CELPE, SPEN and AVANGRID.

International representative for several Working Groups: Smart Energy Group- Coordination Group of CEN/CENELEC/ETSI in Europe, President in Spain of CTN207/TC57 from IEC Power Systems Management.
