RoboEDU - Day 4 - Loops
6-day educational workshop on Robotics and Arduino for school children
The fourth day of RoboEdu educational workshop, organized by the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, the student chapter of University of Peradeniya, was held on 29th of January 2022 from 4.00 p.m via zoom platform and Youtube live.
The webinar was opened for all the school children interested in Robotics and who prefer to learn about microcontrollers.
The main topics discussed were,
- For loop
- while loop
- Analog write
- PWM (Pulse Width Modulation)
At the commencement of the event, an introduction of the loops in Arduino programming was delivered. Then he described different types of loops such as “For” and “While”. Afterward, the speaker described how to use the above loops in a program very clearly as everyone could understand. Next, he simulated some LED circuits using Tinkercad software. In that, participants could see some practical applications of Arduino.
All over the program, the participants were able to ask any question from the speaker and clarify their doubts regarding the Arduino programming and how to use loops in Arduino. Finally, The speaker has assigned some take-home exercises for students to brighten their enthusiastic minds.
