The industrial visit to Infosys, Gachibowli, Hyderabad is the first event organized by the Computational intelligence society (CIS), Student Chapter – IEEE GRIET SB.
This industrial visit was planned with an aim to give students a sense of the professional environment of the software industry and to gain knowledge about the work culture of the IT industry, Infrastructure, and campus facilities provided by the company. 
During this visit, the HR team coached a session for all the learners on SDLC (Software development life cycle process). The introduction was delivered by Mr. Surendra, he conveyed information about Infosys Ltd. and its recruitment process. He also spoke about the current IT trends & skills required to get hired by companies.
Further, Mr . Ravi Sharma, Project manager continued the session, he enlightened our pupils with Software development lifecycle concepts including waterfall, agile methods, product delivery schedules, cloud, and Microsoft Applications. He spoke on how any problem can be solved using a Hybrid agile implementation that contains several steps like a sprint, waterfall, discovery workshop and so much more. Then one of our students explained his project in detail and how it can be executed in terms of Hybrid agile implementation.
The students were also briefed about different career opportunities in the IT industry, and various IT-related roles they can explore. He also shared stories of success and answered a number of queries posed by the attendees. After the session, the learners took a tour around the Infosys Campus to see the workstations and facilities.
