BHEL Industrial visit
BHEL INDUSTRIAL VISIT
We ,the students of EEE visited BHEL, Lingampally on 11th January, 2022 as a part of Industrial trip. Everyone was so excited as it was the first Industrial visit after the pandemic. The good part was, almost entire class was present for visit. On the D-day, 11th January, everyone were at the Department by 7 am, and had their breakfast, 2 buses arrived and we all fitted in the two buses. We started around at 8 am from the dept, along with few of our faculty members. We have reached BHEL by 9 am, they allowed by checking our ID's, and we all being given helmets for safety purpose before entering the units. we have been divided into two troops, so everyone had good exposure to the machinery. Two Sir's from working staff had been allotted to 2 teams, they guided and assisted us .
At First ,we have entered to the unit 1 in the morning, where we have gone through the construction and working of rotors and stators, it was so different and interesting being dealing with the machines practically. The guides were too good and friendly as few of them are our alumni. They have cleared all our doubts and explained every aspect in detail. By 12.30 pm, we are done with unit 1, and had lunch in the canteen. Later, at 2pm we have entered to the unit 2, in which we had exposure to dynamos part. Then we had few group pictures with our faculty nd working staff of BHEL.
Finally, before leaving BHEL, our lecturers felicitated the working staff of BHEL for being so supportive . By evening 5pm, we have reached the College. So, finally we had great experience being part of this Industrial trip, we really thank our faculty for making this possible.
