Computer Vision is a fascinating field and many Indian e-commerce companies and startups are leveraging the application.
Also a lot of Indian startups such as Sigtuple, SensoVision Systems have Computer Vision at the core. The workshop is
aimed at introducing the field of computer vision that enables to model and realize the environment. This knowledge
acquisition will deepen the capabilities in computer vision and artificial intelligence domain so that our students can choose
Career paths in Computer Vision field.

This workshop will emphasize mainly upon image and video analysis problems that have been greatly impacted by the
development of recent Deep Learning methods.

The 2-day workshop will cover the basic algorithms on the first day, followed by hands-on implementations on the second
day. Students will be asked to install tools that covers Python libraries such as OpenCV, Numpy, Scikit-Image, Scikit-Learn,
Anaconda, Tensorflow on their laptops on the first day so that they can complete the assignments on the second day. The
workshop will describe practical methods in Python for implementing, training, and testing custom architectures such as 2D
and 3D Convolutional neural nets (CNN), Residual Networks, Autoencoders, Random Forests, and Transfer learning.
