Dr Bhuvan Unhelkar, Professor, University of South Florida, USA

While the environment remains at the forefront of today's business and political domains, the approaches to handling the challenges of reducing the carbon footprint of a business remain multipronged. This presentation will explore the possibilities of applying the concepts of artificial intelligence (AI) and big data to the environmental responsibilities of businesses. It will also provide an update on the ongoing research project at the Western Sydney University (where the speaker is an adjunct) which studies the collaborative impact of a group of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) on the environment.
