The development of the cloud service model provides business-supporting technology faster than ever before. The shift from traditional client/server to service-based models is transforming the way IT departments plan, design and deploy new applications.
However, cloud computing advances have also created
new security vulnerabilities.
In this talk, for nine well known companies we will explore attack detail, technical and business impacts as well as how they could have been prevented by the nine companies.

Senthil Mehalingam
Biography:
Senthil Mehalingam obtained his graduate degree in Computer Science from Binghamton University in New York and received his Bachelor's degree from South Gujarat University in India.
Senthil has extensive experience in IT with a focus on security in recent years. He worked as an IT solutions architect at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and recently as a senior cyber-security engineer for Colorado Springs Utilities. He is currently working as an Application Security Engineer at Progressive Corporation
He is a senior member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), senior member of Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and Australian Computer Society (ACS).
He was the former Vice-Chair for IEEE Tallahassee Section and former Chair for IEEE Tallahassee Power & Energy Society (PES).
