Biography:
J. C. (Clint) Sprott is an Emeritus Professor of Physics at UW-Madison. He earned his bachelor's degree from MIT in 1964 and his PhD in physics from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 1969. His professional interests are in experimental plasma physics and nonlinear dynamics. He has published many technical papers and books and is well known by the genreal public for his presentations of The Wonders of Physics aimed at generating interest in physics among people of all ages and backgrounds. He also has a variety of personal interests including amateur radio, outdoor activities and private aircraft piloting.
