Destinations are always boring but the journey is amazing with IEEE CU SB under the initiative of Tech-A-Month 2.0 bringing the map for journey to every student’s dream location i.e., “How to get your dream placement?” for cracking your dream placement offers. With the motive to give a complete overview and guide about placements in product-based companies our session started.
The golden hour from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM we got blessed by all the experience and knowledge of our speaker Mr. Chirag Agarwal, SDE at Arcesium. It all started with Shruti Jain and Atul Jha hosting the event and greeting the audience as well as introducing the speaker. 344 people joined the event and got an insight to placements and got their doubts cleared.
Our respected mentor Mr. Chirag Agarwal started with a semester wise plan to flawlessly ace the placements to any product-based company and then gave an insight about other possible openings and opportunities too. He also suggested the core advice of doing DSA(Data structures and Algorithms) before exploring the project and development field. He also introduced and suggested the preparation platforms such as GeeksforGeeks, InterviewBit, Codeforces, Codechef, Leetcode and many others. He suggested many youtube channels and LinkedIn profiles to look upon and taught the way to design correct resume for getting selected. After all these maximum doubts were resolved and a clear vision to placements was provided for everyone.
With a sheer will to learn and crack dream companies the expert guidance received from the session consisted of Er. Sugandha Sharma, the co-ordinator for the workshop, Mr. Rishabh Raj, the Chair at IEEE Chandigarh University, Ms. Arshiya Mittal, the Secretary at IEEE-CU, Vandana Chauhan, Chairperson, IEEE WIE AG Chandigarh University Mr. Vaibhav Singh, the Webmaster at EEE-CU, Atul Jha, Shruti Jain and the core team members of IEEE-CU and obviously the panellists.
