Ultimate Upgrade Essentials

Biography:

Dr. Yeoh is a Scientist at FTS International. FTS International provides independent analysis and mission support services. The Washington Post named FTS one of the top workplaces for the last six years. In his career Dr. Yeoh has held a variety of roles in Systems Engineering, R&D Portfolio Management, Program Management, and Corporate Strategy. He has a passion for creating technology and is currently growing in his experience with business development.

Yeoh holds eleven patents in areas that include infrared microscopy, compressive sensing, and artificial intelligence. He is a recipient of the Dr. Alexander C. Liang Aerospace Asian Pacific American Association award. He is a project management professional (PMP) and a Senior Member of the IEEE. He earned his doctorate in Materials Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

In his free time, he enjoys writing code and stories. He also plays team-centric video games and the acoustic guitar. He has developed the YouTube series: “YO on the GO,” seasons 1 and 2, and has recently published “The Ultimate Upgrade,” available in print and ebook format.

Biography:

Taison Tan leads the nonflight software and special projects teams for Raytheon's EISOC (Engineering, Implementation, Science, Operations, and Communication) contract at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Dr. Tan joined Raytheon in August 2021 and works with JPL Group Supervisors and Program Managers to coordinate tasks and support across various missions.

Dr. Tan was previously employed at The Aerospace Corporation where he was the Associate Systems Director of the Space Based Infrared Systems (SBIRS) program. He worked directly with the U.S. Space Force leadership and prime contractor senior management to successfully manage the production and launch of the GEO-5 satellite on May 18, 2021.

Dr. Tan holds a Bachelor of Science from the California Institute of Technology and a Doctorate from the University of California, Los Angeles, both in Chemical Engineering.
