Annual General Meeting 2022
The main aim of the AGM was to appoint office bearers for the new term of office 2022/23. IEEE Student Branch members and other undergraduates willing to join the SB were presented at the meeting including the outgoing Executive Committee members.
Three keynote speeches were done by the Sectional Student Representative Mr. Vidura Dhananjaya, Dean Faculty of Computing and the Student Branch Counsellor Dr. Asela Gunasekara and Dean Faculty of Engineering, Retired captain Eng. SU Dampage respectively.
The AGM started with the welcome address by the outgoing Chair of the SB Mr. Sarith Imaduwage. The Annual Report was presented by the outgoing Secretary Ms. Amaya Silva and the annual financial report was presented by the outgoing Treasurer Ms. Hansima Nethmini.
The election of the new Office Bearers was done by the Student Branch counsellor, Dr. Asela Gunasekara. The year plan for the year 2022/2023 was presented to the audience by the incoming chair Mr. Supun Hansika. Finally, the AGM was successfully concluded by the vote of thanks delivered by the incoming Secretary Ms. Tharushi Dharmasiri.
