2015 IEEE North Jersey Student Paper Competition
The 2015 IEEE North Jersey Student Paper Competition offers undergraduate and graduate student IEEE members an opportunity to exercise and improve their communication skills. Throughout an engineer's career, he or she will constantly be called upon to communicate ideas to others. This event gives students a chance to practice presentation skills in front of an astute, supportive audience of local IEEE members from diverse fields and backgrounds. It is for this reason that the oral presentation and the presentation material will be judged, not a paper itself. It is not necessary to submit a paper.
The meeting will start at 5:30 pm with a get-together with food and sodas where all participants and the organizers socialize. There will be $400 in prizes, and all winners and participants will receive certificates!
