Computing Sciences was graced with two eminent key note speakers Dr. Ravi Kumar Tati and Dr. Yogesh Lad, both are notable personality in their respective area.
The event consists two sessions, Session was started with the welcome note by Dr. Pankaj Goswami convener of the event and briefing the theme by Mr. Aaditya Jain, the event moderator as well as an Assistant Professor from the department of Computer Science

Product Costing and Cost Consciousness
Dr. Ravi Tati discussed all important aspects of “Product Costing and Cost Consciousness”. He elucidated about What is product, What are the elements of product cost, How to decide overhead charges and selling cost etc. He also enlightens the various methodologies that adopted during the market survey. During his talk, he mainly focused on overhead charges which includes indirect material, indirect labour, components of total cost like prime cost, cost of production, cost of sale, total cost etc. Sir discussed about How to prepare cost sheet and different types of cost overhead. It includes bank charges, sales man salary, travelling expenses, advertisement, delivery man expenses, sales tax etc, which is not included in production cost but these are included in the selling cost with sales profit. It was very interactive and informative session, he continuously interacted with the audience by replying to their queries. The audience found this session very fruitful.
Biography:
Dr. Ravi Tati has done PhD, MBA and MCom in finance from Osmania University Hyderabad. He is currently working as senior Consultant in Startcore Technologies and also associate professor & head in research and consultancy in Saint Mary's college Hyderabad. He has more than 23 years of vast working experience. He has worked with various prestigious University and colleges around the India such as European International College Abu Dhabi, School of Business Manipal University Dubai, Amity University, Nova business school, Hyderabad and many more. He is the member of American accounting association and American finance association

Useful tips on labour laws
Dr. Yogesh Lad enlighten the session on the topic “Useful tips on labour laws” with very graceful manner and clarified the all labour laws and related policies such as apprentices act 1961, control labour act 1970 etc. This acts includes overall benefits of labour such as shift timing, maximum working hours, safety majors, leaves and holidays, provident fund after retirement, promotions, bonuses etc. He also discussed about Promotion criteria of new manpower, qualification for apprentices, obligations, hours of work, health safety and welfare measures, leaves and holidays. Also informed about Employee’s provident fund and provision act 1952 and its schemes which includes how pension and provident fund are calculated.

Dr. Yogesh Lad has vast working experience in the field of human resource management and worked with many reputed organizations such as Add pens Ltd umbergaon, Aarti Drugs Ltd. Tarapur, CTX Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd etc. Currently he is working as Associate Professor& Head, Dept. of HRD & PM in Anand Agricultural University Gujrat.
