BEC IEEE student branch organized an event “SLP”. The event’s main focus was to help students explore their Leadership qualities and enhance their overall confidence.

It included 8 rounds. First round was ‘Find-Fit-Fabricate’, in this round, all the participants get a chance to showcase their presenting skills. Second round was ‘Group leading Activity’, this had other two subrounds in them namely ‘Cut and Construct’ in this round a single a sheet of newspaper was given to a group divided into 6 members in each group and was said to make 48 boats out of them and ‘Unlock the pattern’, the team had been divided into six and were provided with a lock pattern and were instructed the same with the team mates through logical instructions. Third round was ‘Situation Reaction’, In this round a story was provided and some questions related to that story was asked, the answer key was ready with volunteers in the prior. Based on the priority list of the participant answer was compared and discussed. Fourth round was ‘Attention Please’, in this

Group of four was made and among four except one others were sent out, a mini story consisting of series of sentence was dictated to that participant and was said to pass the same to upcoming other participants.

Fifth round was ‘Trash to Art’, in this round four teams were divided and on a table set of trash objects were kept to bid among the teams and the best out of the trash was crafted.

Sixth round was ‘Made in BEC’, in this round a set of 5 newspapers and safety pins were given to all the teams equally and were instructed to dress

The Main motive to conduct this event was to gain members and increase membership
