West MI Section 2022 Whitecaps Baseball Game Social
After a 2 year intermission, the West Michigan IEEE section is thrilled to announce that All IEEE West Michigan Section, WMCN, LMAG, PES/PELS, EMC, and student members are cordially invited to attend our annual ballpark social event. This year’s event will be on Saturday, September 10th. The suite will be open at 5:30pm, and game will start at 7:00pm. The Whitecaps will be hosting the Great Lake Loons, a Class A minor league baseball team affiliated with the Los Angeles Dodgers which is based in Midland, Michigan. We will be watching and enjoying some great food in the ballpark's beautiful Super Suite. Come join us, enjoy catered food, and watch the game in either air-conditioned comfort or on the outdoor balcony!
This social is free to all grades of IEEE members, including students. However, our combo suite only has space for about 75 people, so sign up ASAP because tickets will be issued on a first come first serve basis. This will be a great opportunity to meet your fellow West Michigan engineering colleagues in a relaxed social setting. Besides admittance to the game, we will have free food and drink (non-alcoholic) in the suite (alcoholic beverages are available for purchase in the park). We have again chosen a Saturday game to minimize work conflicts, so we hope you can join us!
While this event is free for all IEEE members, there is a small fee of $20 for everyone else. Again, attendance is limited to 75 so please register ASAP.
Registered members (and paid guests if applicable) will receive their tickets on game day at the park from 5:30pm to 6:55pm at the IEEE table in front of the main entrance. If the ball game is rained out, everyone will have the opportunity to attend a rescheduled game or get a full refund from the Section. There is no refund for no-shows the night of the ballgame or failure to cancel. You may add additional guests at any time (check first with Chuck on the day of the game). Just register again and use your phone number and E-mail each time so we will know which guests are yours (even if we can’t already tell by last names).
