Markforged Tech Talk - Industrial Additive Manufacturing
Additive manufacturing (also known as 3D printing) has come a long way since its inception in the 1980's, from its use in developing aesthetic prototypes to manufacturing functional components at high volume. Hiram Walker, Centerline and Valiant TMS are just a few examples of local industry using Markforged additive manufacturing technologies as part of their daily operations.
Markforged is one of the biggest players in the additive manufacturing market with machines which are capable of producing parts composed of aluminum, copper, stainless steel and exotic composite materials containing carbon fiber for enhanced strength.
