IEEE Denver PES/IAS Chapter's Eigth Annual Golf Tournament
The Denver chapter of the IEEE PES/IAS is the region’s foremost organization representing electrical and power engineers. Our mission is to further education and professional development; provide professional and social networking opportunities; and encourage student involvement in the industry through project funding, scholarships, and event subsidies. The annual PES/IAS golf tournament has become a fun-filled tradition that helps raise funds for activities that support the chapter’s mission. Examples include:
- Maintaining the $0 meeting and dinner fee for students
- Providing project funding to student senior design teams for the annual PK Sen awards
- Maintaining low meeting and dinner fees for professionals
- Hosting special events such as facility tours and networking happy hours
Cost:
- $140 per player ($75 for student members)
- $400 per foursome
- $500 Gold Sponsor Package (Foursome w/ hole sponsorship - a $100 savings)
- $850 Platinum Sponsor Package (Two foursomes w/hole sponsor, string, and 4 mulligans - a $200 savings)
Your tax-deductible registration includes:
- 18 holes of golf with cart
- Lunch
- One drink ticket
Sponsorship Opportunities
IEEE PES/IAS is a non-profit organization and we depend upon the generosity of our corporate sponsors to help fund scholarships, educational dinners, and other community outreach programs. Sponsorship opportunities are available for companies interested in having their name and logo in front of local Colorado engineers. Depending on your level of support, your company name will be introduced at each dinner, golf tournament, and award ceremony throughout the next year. Sponsorship options are available on the registration form, and include:
- Tee-Box Hole Sponsorship Only ($200)
- Gold and Platinum Tournament Sponsorship
- Hole Prizes (longest drive, closest to the pin)
- Door Raffle Prizes
