Brief description:
On 30th March 2022, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with IEEE Information Theory Society SEC Student Branch Chapter conducted an event “WebIt - A hands-on training session on Web Development and Github”. The event began with the welcome address from Dr. B Latha, HOD, Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Then the student trainers took over. Ms. Riduvarshini S R gave an introduction to web development and proceeded with HTML. The afternoon session was about CSS, which was headed by Mr. Gokulaa Krishnaa S. This concluded the day one of the event.
On 31st March 2022, day two of the event, the morning session was conducted by Mr. Santhosh K, who gave a brief introduction to JavaScript. This was followed by a session on Github by Mr. Avinash M, in the afternoon. The students were given an introduction to Github and then were taught how to host a website on Github. The session ended with a feedback session from the participants and a closing speech from Dr. B Latha, HOD, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, who encouraged the students to participate in more such events and develop their skills.
