Biography:

Dr. Ritambhara Singh is an Agricultural economist and agribusiness management expert with 16 years if work experience with organizations of repute. She worked across sectors in teaching, research, extension and consultancy services. Currently SHE IS working as Associate Professor at the School of Agribusiness and Rural Management, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University,  Pusa, Samastipur,Bihar.

Prior to joining RPCAU, she worked as Assistant professor at Anand Agricultural University, Gujarat and also served as consultant to Livestock Industry Association. She served as Agricultural Specialist in Foreign Agriculture Services of the United STATED department of agriculture, the central ministry of agriculture of the US Govt. Before joining the US Govt, she was associated with a not for profit organization Advanced Biofuels USA at Maryland, USA, and MCX India Ltd, the National commodity exchange at Mumbai in the capacity of Senior Analyst. She also worked with Indian Agricultural Research Institute and G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and technology   Pantnagar as Research Associate and Senior Research Fellow.

Dr. Singh holds a Ph.D in Agricultural Economics from  G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and technology,Pantnagar. SHE is member of several professional bodies, has more than 50 research papers, articles, book chapters and books to her credit with international publishers like Springer, Emerald, etc.
