1:40 PM: Open informal meeting with old Business - Update on formation of south shore life member luncheon meeting at Hamburger and Seafood Restaurant 4100 block of St Charles Avenue, New Orleans, La. 70115 scheduled for August 18, 2022. If Francis Grose is available give the update of IEEE HQ. Richard Miller will present events being planned for the New Orleans Section the rest of the year.
New Business: The New Orleans Section of IEEE has been officially approved for a second Life Member Affiliate Group.
If acceptable by the section, I would like to Identify the two organizations: North Lake Life Member Affiliate Group & South Lake Affiliate Group. At present the South Lake Life Member Group will meet at noon on the third Thursday of the month and the North Lake Life Member Affiliate Group will continue to meet on the fourth Thursday of the month. This arrangement will be discussed by its members to determine any changes at the coming meetings.
