Dear IEEE Members, Colleagues, Students and Friends, 

We would like to invite you to participate in person or online to CAS-IF 2022, The CAS Emerging and Selected Topics for Industry Forums. This Forum will be held HYBRID in LIU beirut campus on August 26, 2022 from 9:30AM till 4:15 PM.

With the rapid development of Wearable Devices including, Smart Sensors, Biomedical Circuits and Systems, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Electronic systems and IoT technologies, the industrial systems are evolving fast into a unique class of circuits and systems (CASS), which provide a wide range of challenges and opportunities for circuits and systems development. Furthermore, this forum will cover an overview of the current state of the art on Wearable Devices (WD); it will address the applications of these devices, the innovative and emerging technologies in the WD. In addition, the future challenges in R&D as well as both on technical research and business related aspects will be discussed in this Forum. Finally, this forum will target the undergraduate and postgraduate engineers in order to bridge the gap between industry and academia. Invited speakers from industry in different perspectives in the field of circuits and systems will be sharing their practical experience and knowledge with the younger generation.

This 1st CAS-IF will be organized by the IEEE Lebanon Joint chapter (CAS, PES, PELS, IE) and CAS Egypt Chapter as Hybrid. It hosted by the Lebanese International University, LIU (Beirut) and it will explore the following Topics:

• Closed-Loop Neuromodulation for the Treatment of Neurodegenerative Diseases (M. Sawan, Westlake University, Hangzhou, China)
• Energy Harvesters for Wearable Devices (A. Madian, MU, Egypt)
• Toward Full-Smart Bioelectronic Devices (A. Soltan, Elsewedey Campany, Egypt)
• Artificial Intelligence for Wearable Devices (M. Boukadoum, RESMIQ, Canada)

Places are limited to 50 seats, for in person participants, under first come (registered) first served rules.
