Biography:

Professor Roshan Ragel is the head of the Computer Engineering Department at the University of Peradeniya Sri Lanka and is a consultant for the Lanka Education and Research Network (LEARN).

He obtained his degree in Computer Science with First Class Honours from the University of Peradeniya, and his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of New South Wales.

His research interests include fault-tolerant; dependable computing and synthesis of secure and reliable embedded processors.
Specialties: Computer Architecture, Embedded Systems, and Computer Security and Reliability.
