IEEE PES Clean Energy Entrepreneurship Workshop, in Collaboration with IEEE Smart Village, IEEE Univ' of Calgary, Student Branch (SB) & SEDV at the University of Calgary

The IEEE Power and Energy Society (PES) entrepreneurship committee, in collaboration with IEEE Smart Village, IEEE UCalgary Student Branch, and the Sustainable Energy Systems Development (SEDV) program at the University of Calgary, will be holding a Clean Energy Entrepreneurship workshop on September 24th, 2022. The main aim of this workshop is to inspire the next generation of Southern Albertans to consider clean energy entrepreneurship as a career choice. Topics covered in the workshop include: indigenous clean energy perspectives and access, sustainable as well as social enterprises, and a low carbon future for Alberta.
Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided, along with a certificate of completion of the course. The workshop will be held at the University of Calgary in EEEL 161, with a virtual attendance option for those who cannot attend in-person.
