A guest lecture was organized by the Mathematics Department of Faculty of Engineering and Computing Sciences (FOECS) of Teerthakar Mahaveer Vishwavidyalaya, whose theme was 'Convergence of sequences and series of functions'. This lecture was organized in Lt.2.

The program was first organized with the lighting of the lamp. In this sequence, Dr. Alok Gehlot ji invited the director and principal of FOECS, Prof. Rakesh Kumar Dwivedi, guest Dr. Rakesh Kumar, principal, RSM degree college, Dhampur, H.O.D., mathematics department, Dr. Ajit Kumar and other faculty of mathematics department.In this sequence, Dr. Alok invited Dr. Ajit Kumar to provide bouquets to Dr. Rakesh Kumar. and invited Dr. Abhinav Saxena to hand over the bouquets to Prof. Rakesh Kumar Dwivedi, Director FOECCS.In this sequence, Prof. Rakesh Kumar Dwivedi was invited by Dr. Alok for the speech. Prof. Rakesh Kumar Dwivedi first thanked Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Principal, RSM Degree College, Dhampur and he threw light on the topic of the guest lecture, Convergence of Sequence and Series of Funtions, that use of convergence in economics in real life. Machine learning is done in programming, artificial intelligence, etc. Convergence is very useful in our planning to be successful in future. In this sequence, Dwivedi Sir said that Mathematics department keeps on doing such programs, so that students keep getting new ideas.In this sequence, Dwivedi sir said that our students get good marks without any extra tuition, for this he gave his credit to the faculty of Mathematics department.

In this lecture Dr. Rakesh Kumar Dwivedi, Director FOCS, Dr. Ajit Kumar, Dr. Vipin Kumar, Dr. Abhinav Saxena, Mr. Ashok Kumar, Mr. Vijender Singh Rawat, Dr. Kamesh Kumar, Dr. Gopal Kumar Gupta, Dr. Mukesh Kumar, Dr. Gajendra Singh, Dr. Pawan Kumar and all the students of B.Sc. Honors Mathematics and M.Sc. Mathematics were present.

In the end, Dr. Alok Gehlot expressed his gratitude to all and asked to conduct such lectures in future.

  Dr. Rakesh Kumar delivered a two-hour lecture on Convergence of Sequence and Series of Functions. In this lecture, he presented sets, functions, sequences and series with the help of basic examples. This made it easy for the students to understand these topics. He explained by relating it to the daily life of algebra. And told that mathematics is the queen of all subjects. And algebra is his master's.

After the lecture, the students asked their respective questions to Dr. Rakesh Kumar ji, which he answered very simply and effectively. And he ended his lecture by motivating the students 'When you wake up early morning', Mool Mantra.
