Mr. Pradeep Kumar Verma, Co-ordinator & Anchor welcomed all the cherished dignitaries and participants. The inaugural session started by lighting the lamp in front of Maa Saraswati by Dr. R K Dwivedi, Director FoE, Mr. Aashutosh Sharma, Managing Director Voltrans Energy Pvt Ltd. Ghaziabad, Dr. Garima Goswami, HoD and Associate Professor EE department, Dr Pankaj Goswami, HoD and Associate Professor EC department Pradeep Kumar Verma Workshop Co-Ordinator, Assistant Professor EE department and  Dr Alka Verma Associate Professor EC department.

In welcome address Dr Garima Goswami discussed about the importance of Solar energy for electrical & Electronics Engineering. Dr Goswami also talked about Psychomotor skill profile PV solar Installation Engineer. This profile offers learning about solar system calculation, estimation, installation maintenance etc. apart from bookies knowledge these skills in specific filed is inculcate in individual.  

Prof. (Dr.) R K Dwivedi, Principal, FOE focused on important uses and benefits of solar energy.  and it will prove to be an important link in the future development. Main objective of this workshop is to develop students' skills by giving them new skills, he added.   

Day-1 Session

The use of the sun’s energy is nothing new and dates back to the beginning of time. In recent years however, the focus on energy consumption worldwide rapidly spurred growth in the research and development of ‟ green” alternative fuel source including the sun, wind, hydro, wave, geothermal, hydrogen and other forms of energy. And today, because of that focus, the use of solar energy is expanding by leaps and bounds especially since sunlight is free, unlimited, readily available, clean and reliable.

Day-2 Session

Second Day is particularly dedicated to site visit to 1 Megawatt on grid power plant that facilitates an understanding of the end application that is involved in the functioning of a power plant.  Participants are taken on the site to effectuate their class learning and to closely understand the operation and management

Votrans Energy Pvt. Ltd. and Teerthanker Mahaveer University Moradabad have signed MoU to develop and create a resource pool in the area of Solar energy. Under this, teachers and students of the Faculty of Engineering will be able to get information about renewable energy resources, employable industrial training.

Valedictory Session

In valedictory session, Mr Pradeep Kumar Verma present the report on Two Days Workshop on Design & Installation of Solar PV System. Professor (Dr.) R K Dwivedi, Director FoE appreciated the efforts for workshop.

 Dr Garima Goswami, Dr Pankaj Goswami, Dr Diwakar Pathak, Dr Rahul Sharma Dr Shubhendra Pratap Singh, Dr Alka Verma, Mr Mayur Agrawal, Mr Shashank Mishra, Mr Himanshu Sharma, Mr Rahul Vishnoi, Mr Umesh Singh, Mr Neeraj Kaushik and Mr Prashant Kumar were present. Student from B. Tech EE, B. Tech EC, B.Sc.(H) Diploma EE, Diploma EC were participated. Vote of thanks proposed by Mr Pradeep Kumar Verma.
