WIE ACT : WOMAN IN ENGINEERING ANNUAL CONGRESS OF TUNISIA
IEEE women in engineering ENIS (National Engineering School of Sfax) and ENET'Com (National electronics and telecommunications school of Sfax) volunteers decided to organize the first edition of women in engineering Annual Congress of Tunisia "WIE ACT". The event will take place in the "Orient palace, Sousse" hotel on the 1st and 2nd of October 2022. This congress will not only promote IEEE and Women in Engineering missions, purposes and visions but also will be considered a good chance to integrate new young talents and provide them with an opportunity to showcase their skills in front of professionals. The theme of our congress is "She acts " and its general purpose is the promote women empowerment in different domains and the active contribution of women in technical projects. During this congress, a competition, and a variety of workshops on both hard skills and soft skills will be organized. Examples of hard skills workshops: introduction to AI, finance, and UI/UX. Examples of soft skills workshops: How can IEEE impact your career? emotional intelligence, and Intro to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Also, since October is the month of breast cancer awareness, we’re calling on our dearest attendees to act and help us collect donations to spread hope to women affected by breast cancer.
