Biography:

Alex Watila has over eighteen years of experience as an Information Systems Specialist in various countries. Alex has worked for Terre de Hommes Foundation, Center for Health Solutions – Kenya, eHealth Systems Africa – Liberia, Kenya School of Law, Education Development Centre, and International Organization for Migration. Alex also taught on a part-time basis at JKUAT and South Eastern Kenya University.

Alex consults on ICT4D (Data, eHealth, eGov, eLearning), Information Systems, Quality Management Systems, and Information Security Management Systems.

Alex completed an MSc in Computer Based Information Systems from Sunderland University and graduated with Distinction. In addition, he holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Nairobi and has attended various Courses as part of his continued professional development.

Alex is an active volunteer in IEEE
