Introduction to Robotics
IEEE members are invited as observers, particularly if interested in presenting a similar workshop at their own public library. We may limit attendance to 8 observers. To register as an observer, contact bwilkes@ieee.org. We intend to provide teens with programming guidance prior to the event. The workshop announcement as published in the Harborfields Public Library August Newsletter available for download at https://www.harborfieldslibrary.org/newsletter

Intro to Robotics for Tweens
Monday, October 17, 6:30 – 7:30 PM
If you are a teen with robotics experience,
we are looking for volunteers to partner with
4th and 5th grade students in a beginner
robotics class and earn one hour of com-
munity service. Using the iRobot’s Create3
educational robot, teens will assist children
in programming simple movements, sounds,
and behaviors. This program will be overseen
by an instructor. Space is limited.
