IEEE Day 2022 by IEEE Stamford University Bangladesh Student Branch

IEEE Day is celebrating the first time in history when engineers worldwide and IEEE members gathered to share their technical ideas in 1884. Worldwide celebrations demonstrate the ways thousands of IEEE members in local communities join together to collaborate on ideas that leverage technology for a better tomorrow. This year, IEEE Day 2022 is on the 4th of October!

It is a tradition for the IEEE Stamford University Bangladesh Student Branch to celebrate this important festival with a series of events that reflects the theme of IEEE DAY, "Leveraging Technology for a Better Tomorrow."
 
So, IEEE Day is the major event for any IEEE student branch. To celebrate this biggest event IEEE Stamford University Bangaldesh Student Branch is going to organize 2 weeks-long program which will start from 4 th October, 2021 to 20 th October, 2022.
 
For “IEEE DAY 2021” celebration, we are organising several types of technical & non technical programs both virtually & in person such as IEEE Membership Drive, Cake Cutting, Seminars, Webinars, Workdhops and Training, Industry Visit ,Contests & Competition and many more for the IEEE Day 2022 Celebration. So, are you ready for the biggest IEEE day celebrations?!!
 
The ‘IEEE Day 2022' celebration consists of segments that focuses on empowering members to engineer the future and beyond in addition to the celebratory segments.
 
All the events here have been set according to the IEEE Day-in-a-Box Event Kit.

IEEEXtreme is a global challenge in which teams of IEEE Student members – advised and proctored by an IEEE member, and often supported by an IEEE Student Branch – compete in a 24-hour time span against each other to solve a set of programming problems.
Do you know this year a lot of student members from IEEE Bangladesh Section have been preparing to compete in IEEEXtreme which is set to be held in October. IEEE Stamford University Student Branch are going to arrange for you a webinar regarding the registration phase, information and some tips for the competition so that you can be one step ahead and don’t have to face any trouble afterwards. And this is also a part of IEEE Day 2022 Celebration.

Biography:

K.M. Samiul Islam is an undergraduate student (3rd Year) of  Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at Stamford University Bangladesh. K.M. Samiul has been serving as the Chairperson of IEEE Stamford University Bangladesh Student Branch, IEEE Bangladesh Section, R10 Since February 2021. K.M. Samiul Islam has joined IEEE as a student member in 2019.K.M. Samiul Islam has been also serving as a Lead volunteer of IEEE Bangladesh Section, IEEE PES Bangladesh Chapter, WIE – IEEE Bangladesh Section, IEEE Computer Society Bangladesh Chapter and many more. K.M. Samiul was the virtual conference management team leader of IEEE Bangladesh Section Co-located Conference 2021. K.M. Samiul Islam is a student representative of IEEE PES HAC 2021-2022 (Project Mentoring Working Group). Now he is serving as the Volunteer Coordinator & Lead of International Student-LED Conference 2022 of IEEE Bangladesh Section Co-located Conferences.He had also served as the program steering committee member of IEEE PES HAC Congress 2021. K.M. Samiul Islam has awarded so many prestigious awards for his outstanding volunteering performances.
