Technical Visit to Tindo Solar
Tindo Solar's manufacturing facility is situated in the heart of Technology Park in the City of
Salisbury, South Australia. Tindo Solar designs and manufactures technologically advanced and
premium quality solar photovoltaic (PV) modules from its automated plant with robotic control
at every stage of manufacture. Through focusing on automation and the use of advanced robotics
Tindo Solar is able to produce a quality product that competes with the world’s best panels on
price and performance.
The new $11 million facility and manufacturing line were opened in 2021 and have enabled Tindo
Solar to more than double its output capacity.

Shayne Jaenisch of Tindo Solar
Biography:
Shayne Jaenisch is the CEO and is responsible for all aspects of the
Tindo business. Seven years in the Australian Defence Force
taught Shayne that self-discipline together with a high level of
emotional intelligence, is the secret behind effective leadership
and the empowerment of others.
Shayne joined the Tindo family in 2017. His ability to elevate the
focus on a company’s “human capital” and make it part of their
organisational strategy allows him to identify, nurture and retain
high achievers, whilst developing better recruitment tools to help attract new leaders to the
organisation.
Robert Sporne of Tindo Solar
Biography:
Robert is the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operating Officer.
Robert is responsible for all day-to-day operations of the business,
as well as the technical direction of the company.
In 2014, Robert joined Tindo Solar as a Tindo Energy Consultant
before moving through the roles of General Manager, Chief
Operating Officer, and Chief Technology Officer. With an
educational background in engineering and information
technology, combined with his years of experience in retail and
renewable energy, he brings valuable knowledge and experience
to his role.
