01)Software Antakshari

This is a fun and technical competition. For this event we will circulate forms before the IEEE Day for students to register. We will make teams of students randomly. The competition is like Songs Antakshari. Here the students will be asked to brainstorm the names of software and name it. The next team/s will have to name a software that starts with the ending letter of previous software. For example, if one team says Facebook, other teams will have to come up with the software name that starts with letter K. The one who names first gets the point. The winning team, with most points will be getting a gift that could be a goodie bag (yet to be decided). The duration of this event will be 1 hour and the proposed venue for the event is auditorium.

 

02) Kon Banega Hazaar Pati?

This will be a competitive event. We will open registrations for this event before IEEE day. For this event, we are planning to keep a minimal registration fee so that only serious people take part in it. We will choose any 3 candidates (through lucky draw) who will compete. The candidates will be asked questions related to STEM, more precisely computing domain. There will be 3 rounds in the game and with each round difficulty level will increase. The one who performs best will get a cash prize . duration of this event will be 1 hour, and the proposed venue is Auditorium.
