BEST PhD Thesis Award and AGM of Sensors Council NSW Chapter
Best PhD thesis award 2022
IEEE Sensors Council NSW Chapter will provide awards (certificate and cash prize) for the best three PhD theses (graduated) between 1st October 2021 to 30th September 2022 from NSW universities (UNSW, USyd, UTS, MQ, UOW, Newcastle, WSU, CSU) in the areas of sensors and sensing technology. The selection criteria for the best thesis award are given below:
- Title and abstract of the research thesis.
- Certificate of completion between 1st October 2021 to 30th September 2022.
- A support letter from the supervisor, if possible.
- Technical soundness and scientific rigour.
- Papers published in journals and conferences during the PhD study, IF of the journals, their citation details (if any).
- Quality of innovation/novelty in the domain of sensors and sensing technology.
- Significance of the research contributions in the domain of sensors and sensing technology.
- Applicability of the research contributions in the Industry.
The total application should not be more than 3 pages.
The awardee should accept to deliver a presentation of 18 minutes on 7th December 2022 at Macquarie University campus.
