Inauguration of new IEEE GRIET SB chapters - RAS & TEMS

IEEE believes in Advancing Technology for Humanity. The IEEE GRIET SB is trying to propagate this by introducing two new chapters which are TEMS and RAS with the already existing 10 chapters of IEEE GRIET SB and making a total of 12 chapters. The inauguration of these chapters was done on 15^th October 2022. We had many guests who came to grace the occasion and share their experiences. The venue was the ECE seminar hall of GRIET.

1. G. Jhansi Lakshmi (DIRECTOR OF TECHNICAL WE-HUB, ALEAP)

The event started at 10:00 A.M with a classical dance by P. Sumanjali. Simultaneously, the lightning lamp was done. Later on, the guests were invited onto the dais.

            The Principal of GRIET Dr J. Praveen addressed the gathering. He gave insightful information about IEEE GRIET SB and the astonishing achievements accomplished by GRIET. Aryan Sudhagoni, executive core committee chair took the next turn sharing his experience and announced that IEEE SB GRIET was awarded as “IEEE Regional Exemplary Student Branch Award 2020”. Next Dr G. Karuna, HOD of AIMLE and TEMS Chapter Advisor Dr G. Karuna Research Interests are Image Processing, Computer Networks, Cryptography and Network Security, Big Data Analytics, and Machine Learning. She is a life member of CSI and ISTE. She is certified in Oracle Certified Java Standard Edition 6 Programmer (OCJP) and Oracle Certified Web Component Developer (OCWCD).  IEEE GRIET TEMS SB Chapter. Dr Sudarshan spoke about RAS activities at the Section level. Next Dr Saikumar Tara talked about SAC activities. Dr Venkatesh took the next turn and spoke about TEMS activities Section level. Next Dr Atul Negi expressed his support for SB Chapters and congratulated IEEE SB GRIET. Jhansi Lakshmi talked about future scope and inspired students to address social and environmental needs. Ramadevi Kanneganti took the next turn and spoke about Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. B. Karthik Raj and K. Bhavith Yadav took the next turn simultaneously, promised to make an efficient contribution to TEMS and RAS, and exhibited their gratitude for giving them the opportunity.
