The main goal of this conference and of the 2022 ISPDC edition in particular was to provide an international forum and discussion on advances in the field of Parallel and Distributed Computing, understood broadly, and the impact of these theoretical and practical advances in science, engineering, and society at large. 

This goal is also reflected in the topics in which we solicited contributions in the form of full or short papers and oral communications: Architectures and Environments for Parallel/Distributed Computing and Mobile Computing, Algorithms and Models for Applications of Parallel and Distributed Computing, Performance Modeling, Management, and Optimization, Parallel and Distributed Computing for Large Scale Applications, Parallel/Distributed Embedded Computing for Critical Systems, Cloud and Edge Computing, Security and Privacy in Distributed Systems, Blockchain and Distributed Ledgers, Connectivity and Interactivity.
