IEEE members are invited as observers, particularly if interested in presenting a similar workshop at their own public library.  We may limit attendance to 8 observers.  To register as an observer, contact bwilkes@ieee.org. We intend to provide teens with programming guidance prior to the event.   The workshop announcement as published in the Harborfields Public Library November Newsletter available for download at https://www.harborfieldslibrary.org/newsletter

Intro to Robotics for Tweens
Saturday, November 12, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
If you are a teen with robotics experience, we are looking for
volunteers to partner with 4th and 5th grade students in a beginner
robotics class. Using the iRobot’s Create3 educational robot, teens
will assist children in programming it to perform simple move-
ments, sounds, and behaviors. This program will be overseen by an
instructor from our local retired engineers group. Space is limited
to 4 volunteers. Earn one hour of community service.
