IEEE PES SBC Saingits of Engineering Pathamuttom Kottayam Kerala India in association with IEEE SB conducted a 1-day workshop named “LUMION” on Wednesday 2nd October 2019 as part of the 10th annual IEEE Day celebrations held at Saintgits College of Engineering. The workshop was conducted on the topic “simple emergency lamp circuit construction”. The workshop aimed at helping the participants get familiarized with a daily use device in terms of their working and construction and also prepare them to be capable of making the device themselves in case of an emergency. The workshop was conducted as a live interactive session to help students clear their doubts on the go. The workshop featured participation of a total of 44 students from online as well as spot registrations. The workshop had both IEEE members as well as non-IEEE members as participants from EE, EC, CS and robotics departments.
