Let's Celebrate our Graduating Student members!

Join us as we congratulate and celebrate our graduating students!

We encourage all student members who are graduating this term or have graduated any time during 2022 to register for the event. We will recognize all of the students present at the virtual event.

Cannot make it to the live event? Having issues registering? No problem, you can send us a direct email (student_activities@ieeer5.org)with your name, field of graduation, and your favorite IEEE or school memory.

The Keynote Speaker will be Jenifer Castillo who is the Project Specifications Manager (Latin America) at Parker Hannifin Corporation. She is also the Region 9 director-elect for 2022-2023. She will present on "IEEE: opportunities and the importance of skill development at an early age" focusing on how your IEEE leadership roles will shape your professional experience.

IEEE: opportunities and the importance of skill development at an early age

Biography:

Jenifer Castillo is the Project Specifications Manager for Latin America, at Parker Hannifin Corp. Jen is a Mechatronics Engineer with an MBA – International Enterprises.

She is an IEEE Senior member and has been with IEEE as member and volunteer for 18 years. She is the IEEE Region 9 Director-Elect for 2022-2023. She was also the IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Global Committee Chair 2021-2022 and the IEEE Industry Engagement Committee member 2021-2022.

She was recognized with the IEEE MGA Achievement Award 2020, “For sustained and outstanding achievements in promoting Students, YP, and WIE membership development in Latin America and the Caribbean”, and the Oscar C. Fernández, IEEE Region 9 recognition to the outstanding volunteer in Latin America.
