U-Hack 2k22
Day 1:
U-Hack' 22 started at 9:00 AM with lamp lighting session with the blessings of Principal Prof. H. P. Shukla, senior faculty members and in the presence of Dean Academics, Dr. Sudhanshu Kanaujia, Dean Student Welfare Dr. Nandita Pradhan, HoD CS/IT, Dr. Vijay Dwivedi along with faculty members, student coordinators (Team Technovators) and participants. Faculty members enlightened the participants with their wisdom and knowledge before the hackathon began. During the enlightenment session, faculty mentors also shared opinions, thoughts and suggestions for participating teams to excel as a leading hackathon team.
Total 23 teams, after short listing ( 8 teams of hardware edition + 15 teams of software edition ) successfully participated in Day 1 of grand finale of U-Hack'22 on 4th of November.
The first round of ideation has been successfully completed. Second and third round of initiation and innovation are under process and successfully completed by 5th of November . These teams are being guided and mentored by jury members for software edition Dr. Himanshu Rai, Mr.Dhananjay Sharma, Mr. Rahul Kesarwani, Dr. Ashutosh Singh and for Hardware edition Mr. Prashant soni, Dr. Naveen Srivastava, Mr. Vijit Srivastava and Mr.Vineet Kr. Tiwari.
Day 2 of U-Hack' 22 started at 8:45 AM on 5th November. Students continued to work on their ideas alongwith the modifications and suggestions that they got from the previous day and completed initiation and innovation round successfully.
Second round of mentoring followed by evaluation process began from 12:00 PM onwards in which students were mentored by faculty members from different domains and after evaluation top 8 teams were shortlisted to reach final round. These 8 teams were sent to esteemed Jury for the final phase of selection.
Pro VC, UU Prof. A. M. Agarwal, Principal UCER, Prof. H. P. Shukla, Principal UIT Prof. Sanjay Shrivastava, Prof. K. S Dubey, Dean A, Dr. Sudhanshu Kanaujia, Dean P&D Dr. Swapnil Shrivastav, Dean SW, Dr. Nandita Pradhan, Dean UU, Dr. Chetan Vyas, HoD CS/IT Dr. Vijay Dwivedi, Dr. Dhananjay Sharma were esteemed jury members present for selection of 3 top winners and special prize winners.
The award ceremony began from 3:00 PM with Prof.D.K. Dwivedi (CSI) as chief guest. He motivated and guided the students through his words of wisdom.
After felicitation of Jury members and Team U Hack members, the award ceremony was conducted where all the winners win trophy, certificates and cash prizes (by UGI) apart from gift coupons by sponsors.
First Position was secured by Team Maruti (Rs.10,000/-), Second Position was secured by Team Prawah(Rs. 7000/-) and Third Position was secured by Team Binary Coders (Rs. 5000/-).
Third prize was sponsored by Rotary Club handed over by Dr. Divya Bartaria.
Two special category prizes for Best website design (Team Star Tech ) and
Best innovative idea (Team Creators) are also awarded.
