On the auspicious occasion of IEEE Day, the Student Branches from Sri Sairam Institute of Technology and Sri Sairam College of Engineering decided to organize an event to commemorate the achievements. The day started off with a welcome address from the higher authorities of both institutions, held in the Sigma Auditorium, proceeded by the Inaugural Address from Dr G. Sainarayanan, Director of HCL Technologies and Dr Rakesh Kumar, the President & CEO of TCX Technology, wherein the student’s gained insights on how IEEE, as a platform can help them aid in their mission to create a better future. This, was followed by technical and non-technical events, showcasing the talents of the students in various disciplines. The winners from these events were then honored at the end of the event, with lucrative cash prizes and a Vote of Thanks from Dr. Azhagumurugan, IEEE Strategist concluded what many perceived, as a scintillating event.
