The Fraunhofer Space brings together the expertise of 27 Fraunhofer institutes from a wide range of research fields. This talk is intended to provide an overview of how the Fraunhofer institutes with their various focal points interact and form alliances within the Fraunhofer organization.  

In an era of mega-constellations and increasing commercialization of space, space debris poses an ever-increasing threat that has not received enough attention for a long time. Here, the expertise of various institutes complements each other in order to counteract this problem.
