Circuit Simulation Primer for the Power Electronics Engineer
This lecture is an introduction to SPICE based and time domain power electronics circuit simulation geared towards the Power Electronics Engineer. The presentation highlights some of the challenges that engineers face when trying to accomplish the many tasks associated with first-pass design success of power electronics hardware and firmware. The presentation provides insight; via many practical examples, into the advantages of various simulators with emphasis on developing a simulation strategy so that efficient circuit simulation is achieved for the required tasks.
